Your own verified number, run properly
The official WhatsApp Business API — your brand, your number, your templates — with the shared inbox, campaigns and automation that the raw API does not give you.
The WhatsApp Business app is built for one person with one phone. The moment a team shares it, or you need to message a thousand customers, or you want automation, it stops being the right tool.
The Business API is the answer, but it is an API — there is no inbox, no campaign screen and no automation in the box. WaFi is that layer, built on top of the official platform rather than around it.
The parts that matter
Official and verified
Your own number on Meta's platform, with the green tick available through business verification.
Templates, managed
Create, submit and track approval, and sync status from Meta when it changes at their end.
Campaigns that respect the rules
Bulk sending to people who opted in, with opt-outs honoured automatically.
A real shared inbox
The whole team in one place, with assignment, notes and a conversation history.
QR codes and click-to-chat
Bring people in from print, your site or a bio, with the first message already written.
Catalog in the chat
Connect a Meta catalog and let customers browse products without leaving WhatsApp.
The 24-hour window, explained honestly
You can reply freely for 24 hours after a customer messages you. Outside that, you need an approved template. This is WhatsApp's rule, not ours, and any provider claiming otherwise is describing something that will get your number restricted.
- Inside the window — free-form replies, images, documents, no template needed
- Outside it — an approved template, in the right category
- A tap counts — a quick-reply button reopens the window; a link click does not
Protecting your number
Meta rates your number on how people react to it. Blocks and reports lower your quality rating, which cuts your messaging limit and can eventually suspend the number. Everything in WaFi that looks like a restriction — opt-out handling, category matching, opt-in lists — exists to protect that rating.
- Opt-outs enforced — STOP is honoured everywhere, automatically
- Category matching — a promotion sent as Utility is a mismatch Meta will act on
- Volume that earns itself — limits rise as your number proves it is welcome
Straight answers
Can I keep my existing number?
Usually yes, but it must first be removed from the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app. A number active in the app cannot be registered on the API.
How long does setup take?
Connecting a number is quick — often the same day. Business verification with Meta and template approval are on Meta's timetable, usually hours to a few days.
What does WhatsApp charge?
Meta bills conversations separately from your subscription, at rates that vary by category and country. Utility templates cost less than Marketing, which is one reason category accuracy matters.
Can several people use one number?
Yes — that is the main reason to move to the API. The shared inbox supports as many agents as your plan allows.
